Contact me

I welcome all tips, information or anything else that you might like to tell me. Most people can send me an email at kevin.draper@nytimes.com. But there are a number of more secure ways we can talk.

If you are contacting me about something sensitive, please do not do so from an email address, computer, phone or network owned by your employer.

Email

To send me an email anonymously, you can set up a disposable email address on a site like Guerrilla Mail or 10 Minute Mail. Be aware that using a disposable email address means I probably will not be able to respond to you before your temporary account is destroyed.

If you use ProtonMail, an email service built with security in mind, you can contact me that way too: kevin.draper@protonmail.com.

Chat

You can send me a message or call me via Signal, a free encrypted text and calling application for your phone or computer. Email me for my Signal number.

SecureDrop

The New York Times maintains SecureDrop server, a great way to send encrypted information. For instructions on how to use SecureDrop, as well as other ways to send tips to The New York Times, go here.

Mail

Traditional snail mail is still one of the best ways to communicate securely. Any mail or packages can be addressed to:
